Story
In June, 2024, I had a chance to visit Bosque del Apache. Bosque del Apache is a wildlife refuge located in central New Mexico, near the Rio Grande. It's renowned for its diverse ecosystem and serves as a crucial habitat for a wide variety of bird species, particularly during the migration seasons. The refuge spans over 57,000 acres and features wetlands, rivers, and forests, making it a popular destination for birdwatchers, photographers, and nature enthusiasts. Each year, thousands of sandhill cranes, snow geese, and other migratory birds flock to Bosque del Apache, creating spectacular wildlife viewing opportunities.
