Silver Award at the second final of the WPE Awards International Photography 2023 in the Street Photography category.
I took this photo in the Black Lake park in Kazan. I found this interesting angle and tried to play with it with something, realizing that just lines in the frame would be boring. Not having come up with anything interesting, I went to look for other stories, but this one couldn’t get out of my head and after a while I returned.
Once again, having built a composition through the camera viewfinder, I thought about possible scenarios and suddenly, as if by magic, a small miracle runs into the frame, breathing life and movement into this strict, geometrically verified photograph.
