This is an excerpt from an ode dedicated to the witches of Escazú, Costa Rica, and Annie Sprinkle. Annie Sprinkle, an ex-Porn Star and a pioneer of the Postfeminist and Ecosexuality movements, famously wedded the Earth in 2008 alongside her partner Elizabeth Stephen, as per the Ecosex Manifesto's pledge: 'I promise to love, honor, and cherish you, Earth, until death brings us closer together forever.' This ode endeavors to symbolize this commitment by capturing it in an editorial that seamlessly melds the tranquility of the Costa Rican forest, the rich history of the local "curanderas / brujas" (healers / witches) from the Escazú area, and the exquisite allure of raw diamond jewelry.
