Story
This is a homage to the painting by Jan Van Eyck "Portrait of a Man in a Red Turban ".
In the photo , a girl with a turban on her head made of red men 's shirts . Also using shirts as a turban, I wanted to draw attention to the concept of Anti-Consumerism. Anti-consumerism as a phenomenon is aimed at maximum savings: the rejection of excessive consumption, making impulsive purchases. This is the reuse and recycling of already purchased goods.
The idea was to make homage to the work of a famous artist, but I didn't have the right fabric to create a turban, but I had a pair of red shirts. I wanted to show that it is not necessary to purchase new material, but it is possible to adapt what is already available.
