It was summer of 2020. Everyone was scared of the coronavirus. But in Antalya, they had relaxed the curfew rules for outdoor spaces. I had just met Katerina, so I invited her to go to the Kursunlu Waterfall to take some photos. There, I saw this big, sturdy tree with a huge hole in its trunk. A hole that looked very much like a human womb. So I asked Katerina to go inside the hole and create an image that would evoke a human being in the womb of nature. Unfortunately, we humans have forgotten that we are dependent on this nature and that our survival is completely dependent on the preservation and care of the nature around us.
