It had been a while since I last saw her. As she was getting ready for the session I looked carefully. You could see the effect of loss in her. The way she walked like there was no point in going, the way she sat down like she had mountains on her shoulder and the way she sighed like there was a whole book of words inside her trying to get out. "How have you been?" I asked. It was like the words reached down her throat and opened the book she was trying so hard not to open all of this time. 
"I miss him" she said "I miss the way he looked at me. The way his fingertips played with my skin, making me shiver. It was like my body was made out of notes and he wanted to learn how to play every note perfectly. His touch evoked a feeling I could not measure, draining every last drop of restraint from the hollows of my body. He loved the way the ray of sun shined on the curves of my body as if the sun was dancing, and he was looking at a perfect play. Each morning as I woke up I'd caught him looking at me like he was seeing me for the first time with that same excitement" she sighed, looking at me "That's how a girl will love you, you know".
