I was inspired for this project first of all by the poster for the well-known film "The Silence of the Lambs", and secondly by the idea and meaning of the cocoon itself. I'll explain now.
⠀Initially, a cocoon is a shell in which a caterpillar is wrapped in order to fly out of it after a while as a beautiful butterfly. But there is another meaning of this word. One of my friends told me that from time to time he needs to "go into his cocoon", reduce communication with the outside world to a minimum in order to reboot and restore internal resources. I liked this allegory so much that I had no choice but to display it in the pictures.
⠀The most difficult thing was to find a model suitable for the type. Guess where I met her? In a coffee shop. Charming, thin as an elf, the girl brewed me delicious coffee. It wasn't very difficult to persuade her to pose for me.
⠀I ordered butterflies on Aliexpress, for the costume I bought several meters of tulle in different colors. And then I worked as I see (I'm an artist).
