My art is playing with shadows.

I am Navid Mousavi, an internationally recognized portrait and lighting photographer. Passionate about visual storytelling, I have been ranked 7th in the world (2020) and 13th in the world (2021) in the Female Portrait category at the prestigious 35AWARDS.

Beyond photography, I am deeply committed to education. I teach specialized courses on lighting, portrait photography, and visual perception, focusing on creativity over rigid formulas. Through my workshops, online content, and podcasts, I explore the intersection of photography, technology, and the business of art, helping photographers refine both their craft and industry knowledge.

For me, photography is more than just capturing images—it’s about pushing creative boundaries and redefining how light, composition, and emotion come together to create meaningful visuals.
