With the creation of this image I've used the Dutch painter Vermeer as an inspiration for the setting, lighting and subject.
With depicting the model partly undressed I wanted to add a sense of non-sexual nudity and ask the viewer to adapt a more openminded view, and acceptance of non-sexual nudity within photography which is often present in paintings.
